This Yoga Nidra training and mentorship will give you all the tools and support to confidently share Yoga Nidra. You’ll learn how to teach yoga nidra and how to tailor practices to different clients, settings, and themes.

In this training we’ll:

• Learn about the history of yoga nidra, different types of practices and how they’re similar and different.

• Explore the structure of a Yoga Nidra practice as it moves through the koshas (layers or sheaths of our human experience)

• Learn how Yoga Nidra is different than other guided meditations and ‘relaxation’ meditations.

• Learn about the science behind the magic—why yoga nidra is so helpful, and what is happening in your brain and body.

• Experience different types of Yoga Nidra, and deeply explore your own experience.

• From direct experience of your practice, you’ll put together practices to share!

This training is a 3 month exploration into the magical practice of Yoga Nidra through 1, 3-hour class each Friday from 6-9pm, and 2, 1-hour mentorship calls during the program. Classes will be a mix of experiential practice and structured learning.

There are 6 spaces to take this training in person, and 6 spaces to participate online. Each class will be in person, and will also be live and recorded via zoom, so you can be part of this training from anywhere, and if you have to miss a class you can receive the recording.

This course is available for 38 hours of continuing education through Yoga Alliance. And you DO NOT need to be a yoga teacher to take this training!

If you work with people in any setting, you can learn to share the magic of yoga nidra with your clients, co-workers, friends and family.

And this training can also be a valuable way to deepen your own practice and learn ways to use Yoga Nidra to support yourself and work with what’s coming up in your own life, whether you want to teach it or not!
